Elvis Battle 3 (Demon)

Stage 5 Stage 5 Stage 5 Stage 5 Stage 5

Mamamiya! This is more than likely to be one hell of a battle for first timers. Elvis in demon form is one true asshole in its entirety. He has a number of fast attacks and punches that can dizzy you really easily. His punches are duck-able but his combos are not entirely high attacks so you’ll have to be alert enough to back flip away as well. You’ll also have to back flip away from his flame, stomp, and jump & crash attacks.

Remember how hungry Elvis always is? This time, he’s so hungry he has to eat you in battle. You can either back flip or side dodge away in time to avoid, but don’t back flip into a wall. Elvis also fires fireballs from time to time; just side dodge in time. You can also use the little time after dodging to taunt him considering he’s a distance away.

One last attack he does that is 90% ‘impossible’ to dodge is his roll attack. Theoretically, you simply side dodge/back flip away in time. Practically, the timing can be very hard to grasp. One way in which I sometimes manage to stop him from doing that move is to throw crates at him. If he happens to get hit while in his stance, he’ll get stunned for a bit and stop.

Now that you know how to defend, let's switch to offense. You can always taunt him from a distance from time to time for TP and spam the usual Chain Yanker + Yes Man Kablaam tactic but if that’s not possible/not enough, you’ll have to face him fairly fist to fist for a bit. Just keep your reflexes on the alert and punch away until he shows signs of attack, then duck or back flip depending on his move. His attacks are usually really fast, so hopefully you’ll get the timing after a little getting used to.

When Elvis gets dizzy, you can get in only 2 Yes Man Kablaams before you must quickly hit O for pummel. He recovers from dizziness really quick so if you happen to miss your pummel, use the time he gets up to get in one more YMK, then back flip away to safety.
